Swizzor.gen.c is a Trojan that connects to a remote server and downloads a malicious executable file. The downloaded file is then installed as a browser helper object - a DLL module designed as a plugin for Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser to provide added functionality - and injected it into the Internet Explorer process. After that this malware can compromise the user's privacy by leaking confidential information. It also downloads updates for itself, modifies memory of other processes and, in rare cases, uses shared memory of other processes.
