Some people are addicted to gambling and need to seek professional help. Other people enjoy gambling for the pure fun and relaxation aspects that it provides. With the wonderful benefits of the Internet, users are now enjoying all types of casino fun from the comfort of their homes. Some Casino software is geared towards making money, other casino software you play for points and gamble without any real money. I can't tell you which software application will make you money, but what I can tell you is which program will lose you money, time, effort and possibly your computer. The program that I am talking about is called CasinoOnNet. It is a malicious and tampered with casino software program. The program comes with a Trojan attached to it, which gets activated on your machine the moment that it is installed. This presence of this software results in many annoying pop-ups and adverts for things such as antispyware software. CasinoOnNet is related to a number of files such as; casinonet.exe which corresponds with the MD5:7b33b66d2a3545df1398c6fb43c789de, Casino.exe which corresponds with the MD5:487b79b0518048c30c3e4a3499808f68 and lastly CasinoOnNet.exe which corresponds with the MD5 00ff400d82f6f22e99cf8d4b223fb624. What are the symptoms of CasinoOnNet? This is a very valuable question, due to the factor that if you detect the symptoms you may also be able to detect the virus. Some of the symptoms of CasinoOnNet are also applicable to other viruses, Trojans and spyware. Even if it isn't this exact Trojan, if you are experiencing the following signs you may want to do something about it. Beware of the following symptoms:
As has been established, CasinoOnNet is adware that has been designed to promote advertisements. In this case a big portion of these advertisements are related to casinos and gambling. There may also be other advertisements for things that are not associated with gambling that pop-up. The fundamental issues with regard to CasinoOnNet, is that it is adware. Due to the factor that it is adware, it has many of the adware risks involved, these may include your internet activity being tracked and the sending of your private information and details to certain advertisers.
Table 1. Aliases name of CasinoOnNet In order to remove CasinoOnNet you will need to delete the files that are associated with it. This means that you are going to need to stop all the CasinoOnNet processes running on your machine, and delete all the related DLLs as well. Lastly you are also going to need to delete all the CasinoOnNet registry keys. This may be a very technical task and it is suggested that you get either a computer expert or someone who is knowledgeable about computers to help you. The bad news is that it is easy to mess something up and affect other computer components, so at the end of the day it is better to backup your system and everything on it. This will ensure that, if something either goes wrong or is lost, you will be able to restore and recover the stuff fairly easily. I would like to end off with a quote:"A gambler with a System must be, to a greater or lesser extent, insane."-Anon |
