How much of what you do online is private? Do you sometimes have private conversations with people on an instant messenger that you would hate anybody to see? How much confidential information do you type on your keyboard on a daily basis? All this highly confidential information that I am referring to is irrespective of all the times you use the Internet to make online payments or buy items, which you pay for with your credit card. The majority of Internet users type in their pin numbers, credit card numbers or social security numbers on a regular basis. My question to you is, would you totally freak out if you knew all the information that you type could easily be recorded? The majority of people would freak out big time, this is why you need to watch out for CheaterChecker, it does all of this and more. What exactly is CheaterChecker? It is a dangerous spyware keylogger program that is able to literally capture every single key that you type. CheaterChecker runs in stealth mode on your machine, so you have no clue that it is even there. It hides itself very well and the average victim may be completely oblivious to what is happening. If you think that spyware that can capture every keystroke is bad, think again because this malware just gets worse. CheaterChecker has also been designed to capture screenshots of your desktop at any given time. This is not all it does, as I said it just gets worse. It is also able to keep track of your entire browsing history, where it gains access to every single website you have gone to. To add to that, it can keep a record of not only all the websites you have gone to, but also of all the chats you have via email and instant messenger. The risks are very high that it could also access all your confidential information with the inclusion of your pin numbers, passwords and your confidential banking details.
Table 1. Alias names of CheaterChecker User passwords are usually stored on the local machine of the victim. Once such information is captured, it can also be emailed to a remote location. Any program that is able to get hold of your pin numbers and passwords, you should stay as far away from as is humanly possible. CheaterChecker is known to be related to a few distinct files which include:dbtab.dll ,progpop.dll ,CheaterCheckerSetup[1].exe and htmlodbc.exe. The MD5 signatures associated with these files are: f2dc5eac29902f9a78d451ab49dbe09a, 25c3048e1398b9d84d792917ea2e4de2, 5f4c4356b0cdb3c6ba6108a244503d6a and 69bef43d708f6ab6b1523ffb0fb2473b. It may be a good idea for you to attempt to remove CheaterChecker manually. Although it is highly suggested to rather avoid doing this if you are not sure how to navigate you way around the inner workings of your computer. The possibilities are high of deleting a file by mistake which is relevant for the functioning of your machine. So if you are going to go ahead with this, be careful and make sure that you have a computer expert to consult if something does happen to go wrong. How to Manually Remove CheaterChecker:
