It seems that rogueware is all around the web. Yesterday I warned you against a new rogue anti-spyware application with the serious-looking name Alpha Antivirus. It looks as though this program is really causing a great amount of damage for more and more users each day. It is really worthwhile to perform further analysis on this malware. Therefore, I've chosen today to inform you about AlphaAV.exe - one of the files related to the Alpha Antivirus rogueware.
So what is AlphaAV.exe? It is actually the name of the main executable file of Alpha Antivirus. AlphaAv.exe is located in: C:\Program Files\Alpha Antivirus It is also associated with the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | AlphaAV AlphaAV.exe could enter your system via various Trojans and other malware.
