SystemVeteran, one of the latest rogueware applications from the Winisoft family, keeps spreading its poison on the computers of many Internet users. Naturally, a question arises: where is this evil software coming from? Who are these guys that created just another method to steal your money? As I have already mentioned in my previous article, one of the ways to get SystemVeteran software is to visit the domain s-y-s-t-e-m-v-e-t-e-r-a-n-d-o-t-c-o-m. However, I don't advise you to enter this web address in your browser. Otherwise, you might get this rogueware on your PC. According to whois.com information, the domain of SystemVeteran is registered under Mr. Izidor Brozovic, living in Berlin, Germany. However, this is only one side of the truth. It is interesting that according to the IP of the domain, the seat of SystemVeteran isn't Germany but rather the Netherlands, the city of Eindhoven. Which one would you trust? Personally, I think that the real threat is in the Netherlands. So beware and don't get trapped. You might be in great trouble because of SystemVeteran. As is common to most of the roguewares from the Winisoft family, SystemVeteran might harm the entire system of your PC, including the following aspects:
Image 1. SystemVeteran Fake Scan All in all, I just want to warn you that SystemVeteran should never be trusted. It can neither detect, nor remove any viruses from your PC. SystemVeteran is just a Trojan-based application which is aimed to line its own pocket from the innocent. Keep your money in your wallets, not in the hands of the hackers. |
